Sing With Us
Resounding Achord is an auditioned ensemble that produces high-quality choral music with varied difficulty in a wide range of styles. We expect our singers to be:
- Intermediate sight-singers
- Able to learn music on their own
- Confident enough to sing in an octet
- Experienced singing in many styles and languages
Auditions
Auditions for the 2014-15 Season are complete. Singers who are interested in joining Resounding Achord in the future should contact Kristina Nakagawa, Artistic Director, at

Singer Responsibilities
- Come to all rehearsals and events with a positive attitude and outlook – first and foremost, we want to have fun!
- Attend all rehearsals, unless illness or work/family events bar you from doing so.
- Notify the Artistic Director as soon as conflicts arise by e-mail to: [email protected]
- Pay a music fee for the season. A few selections of standard repertoire may be loaned out from the organization. Should you lose your copies of any of the music, it will be your responsibility to either make a copy or order a new one.
- A monthly rehearsal schedule and all music and recordings will be provided ahead of time. Please come to each rehearsal as prepared as possible.
- Ensure that the Artistic Director has your correct e-mail address, and check your email often for updates and rehearsal schedules.
- Purchase your performance attire. Every effort will be made to find low-cost items that are easily accessible to all.
